As the EDS-P206A-4PoE supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) at multiple ports, this Ethernet switch can be utilised as power sourcing equipment, providing up to 30 W of power per port to powered devices such as access points and IP cameras. This enables the end user to centralise the power supply at the Ethernet switch, as well as eliminate the need for additional wiring.
