Fiber Optic Media Converter
The Advantech EKI-2541 Series of Fiber Optic Media Converters are designed to transparently convert Ethernet networks to fiber networks, with the advantages of fiber optics being wide bandwidth, EMI immunity, and longdistance transmission. The EKI-2541 Series supports MDI/MDIX auto detection, so you don’t need to use crossover wires.
Din-Rail hardened models also feature 3,000 VDC surge protection (EFT) against overvoltage, making them highly suitable for harsh operating environments and feature link fault pass-through.
